![]() Since 1998, the East Palo Alto Tennis & Tutoring program (EPATT), a non-profit youth development organization, has been impacting the lives of hundreds of East Palo Alto youth. Through partnerships with families, schools, volunteers and local communitites, EPATT promotes leadership, discipline, hard work, and excellence among it's students.
Today, approximately 100 Kindergarten-12th grade studnets participate in the EPATT program at Stanford University's Taube Family Tennis Stadium with the help of more than 100 volunteers. Using a unique mix of one-on-one academic tutoring, free tennis lessons, direct instruction, college counseling, and parent education, the program strives to enrich the academic, athletic, and social skills of it's participants. The SAP Open is proud to support EPATT. To date, the tournament has donated over $210,000 in cash, and more than $25,000 in kind (tennis balls, apparel, footwear, tennis camps, etc.) For more information, visit their website at http://epatt.net/. |
