SAP OPEN LADIES DOUBLES CHALLENGE A SUCCESS

Hosted at the beautiful, award-winning Los Gatos Swim & Racquet Club, the event featured round robin competition, followed by an elimination draw.

Despite the challenging weather conditions and rain delays, dozens of talented
ladies displayed brilliant backhands and vicious volleys at the 2010 SAP Open Ladies Doubles Challenge.

After a rainy start, the sun finally emerged as the competition heated up!

A special congratulation to our 2010 champions, who fought hard, strategized, and dug deep to claim the title of
SAP Open Ladies Doubles Challenge Champions:

3.0 – BANU SEARLE, Los Gatos & KAREN PANIAN, Los Gatos

3.5 – LYNN HOEFFLINGER, Los Altos & ELENA MEYERS, San Jose

4.0 – JENNI EISENBERG, San Jose & PATTI DONOVAN, San Jose

4th Annual SAP OPEN
LADIES DOUBLES CHALLENGE

Again this year we have an incredible playing opportunity…just for the LADIES!

Yes, it's the 4th Annual SAP Open Ladies Doubles Challenge.

Who can play? All Ladies 3.0 to 4.0

When? Monday through Friday, January 25-29, 2010 during daytime hours (11am-5pm)

Where? Los Gatos Swim & Racquet Club in Los Gatos, CA

Entry Fee? $65 - Fee includes the Ladies Doubles Challenge and a baseline lower reserved seat ($60 value) for the Tuesday evening session of the SAP Open at HP Pavilion featuring Lleyton Hewitt, Tommy Haas & the Bryan Brothers

Three divisions (3.0 & under, 3.5 & under and 4.0 & under) compete for bragging rights, box seats and recognition on center court at HP Pavilion for session #4 Tuesday evening, February 9, 2010.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

The first day of the Challenge is a Round Robin Format, where you will play three 8 game pro-sets, 12 point tiebreak @ 7-7. The top team from each flight will advance to day two where they will compete in a Regular Doubles Draw - format is best of 3 sets, with a match tiebreak in lieu of a 3^rd set. No-Ad scoring will be used for all matches.
